Community Concern And Development Foundation Uganda is a Non-Government Organization operating in Uganda and an indigenous Christian Based Organization which started in 2018 as a Community Outreach, and in 2021 it was registered as a Community Based Organization(CBO) Under this Registration N0 BGR 504/0199 The foundation started with 10 helpless children from remote families. by now we have 75
In Uganda, most children are orphaned as a result of AIDS/HIV. Moreover, with rampant poverty, these orphans can’t care for themselves. Old people well above 68 years are often left to care for them but the two are helpless. Non HIV/AIDS orphans are equally vulnerable children who need to be helped. These children, apart from failure to raise school fees (tutions) are also unable to meet their basic needs, food, shelter, medical care, sanitary towel for mature girls and even company.
COCODEFU therefore was founded as response to this problems faced by these orphans.
The organization was set up to give a hope to the lives of these orphans, to find their tuition to pay their education, to give them relevance in life. Feed them, not just with any food but a balanced diet that gives them resistance to diseases. Also, to find for them some shelters where possible to give them a belonging. Responding to their ailments /sickness through medical care. These are just a few programs we provide.
COCODEFU was found by MUSASIZI ANGELO & WAISWA ALI SILIMANI. the organization was founded to stop the tide of Vulnerable/ orphaned persons in particular, and the spread of HIV/AIDS in general. These two factors having been the most frequent situations the religious members would turn up for counseling and prayer about.
As the intended boundaries were found to be outstripped by demand, as the need for services was growing at a speed so terrific, in an area too wide for the resources, physical, financial and human, could handle. In light of this, and in expectation of the future, owing partly to unending spread of AIDS and partly to increasing abject poverty and health, COCODEFU was upgraded to a community based organization on from a small church based organization. So from 2011, COCODEFU is a fully fledged independent organization with headquarters at Bugiri, a town in eastern Uganda, about 3 hours away from Kampala, the capital of Uganda. The Organization shall continuously have branch offices as the needs of HIV/AIDS sensitization, health promotion, empowering widows, youth and vulnerable children and communities may arise from time to time.

OUR VISION
To see all people access their basic needs mostly Vulnerable Communities, orphaned children, Youth and widows facing welfare problems, our aim is to reach all kinds of vulnerable groups of people in both rural and urban communities through various means.
